The guitars below were built "on Spec" and are for sale, ready immediately. All are finished in Tru-Oil, and all have Stainless Steel jumbo frets and bone nuts. They all have bolt-on style necks, with threaded inserts and machine screws for maximum sustain. They are Senhelder original JS5 guitars, designed to be balanced, light-weight, and to be stable when played in both the traditional sitting position and in an upright position that makes it easier to play big stretches with complex fingering.

SN 002
Serial Number 002 has a Sepele body with a quilt maple cap and sepele neck with an ebony fingerboard. It has two Zhanbucker single coil pickups - a custom wound neck pickup and a Paul Bunyon at the bridge. The controls are master tone and volume, and the third knob is a rotary pickup selector switch - pickups can be selected singly, in parallel (quack) or series (grunt). Sound is very clear, bright in the bridge PUP, darker in the neck but still hard and ringing.
SN 003
Serial Number 003 has a Sepele body, with a quilt maple cap, and a birdseye maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. It features two Zhangbucker P90 style pickups, a Cherrick in the neck and a Blues 90 in the bridge. It has a master volume, tone and three way pickup selector switch. Sound is touch sensitive - clear when played lightly, fatter when played aggressively. Great sustain.
SN 004
Serial Number 004 has a Sapele neck, with a quilt maple "cap" inset into the body. This technique is time-consuming, but the Sapele body then acts as "self-binding" and allows for more aggressive contouring at the armrest. The neck is Sepele, with a quilt maple fingerboard and tortoise dots. Pickups are Zhangbucker P90 style - "Cherrick" in the neck position and "Sweet Heat" at the bridge. Sound is clear, touch sensitive, and powerful.
SN 006
Serial Number 006 has a sapele body, with a tiger maple cap. The neck is 4 piece maple, with a birdseye cap on the headstock (which is a custom design) and an ebony fingerboard. Pickups are Zhangbucker single coil type - custom wound for the neck and Paul Bunyon at the bridge. There is a master volume and tone plus a rotary 4 way switch for pickup selection offering bridge, combo in parallel, neck, and combo in series (grunt mode). Both pickups are bright, clear and ringing.
